In 1981, Lesney Products had considered releasing the first Y12-3 Model 'T' Van with a Lyons' Tea livery, but for various reasons it never happened. This (Y22-1) 1930 Ford Model A Van with 'Lyons' Tea' livery was released in June 1987, and is notable as being one of the first models from the Macau factory.

Livery: (Tampo)
'LYONS TEA' in white with orange and black outline on both sides of van.
'15' in white within white edged circle on both cab door sides.

Variations/Rarities: The first issue of the model was made in Macau and can be found with chrome, gold or red 12 spoke plastic wheels with blackwall tyres on riveted axles.
The last issue was made in China and that version has chrome 12 spoke push-fit wheels with blackwall tyres.
The Macau had beige seats and a "Matchbox © 1981 Y7 Y21 Y22 Macau" baseplate and the later China version has a "Matchbox © 1981 Y35 Y21 Y22 China" baseplate and brown seats.

Chinese-six: Issue 4 is one of the "Chinese six" models.
